💼 WiN with Beryl 🚲

A free travel boost for jobseekers in Greater Norwich

Written by Scott

🎉 What’s the offer?

If you’re currently looking for work and live in Greater Norwich, you could be eligible for:

✅ A free 400 Minute Bundle to use on any Beryl vehicle in Norwich
✅ A 50% discount code for Minute Bundles, valid for 12 months

ℹ️ 1 redemption per user.

This offer is part of the WiN with Beryl promotion, brought to you by Jobcentre Plus and Norwich BID.

When is the offer available?

🗓 Starting from 15 January 2025

Where can I use the minutes?

The offer is available within the Greater Norwich and Beryl scheme area only.

You can use the minutes on any Beryl vehicle in Norwich — bikes, e-bikes, and e-scooters! 🛴🚴

⏱ How long can I ride?

Your 400 free minutes can be used flexibly across multiple rides until they run out.

How do I claim my free ride?

  1. Speak to your Work Coach at Norwich Jobcentre Plus

  2. They’ll give you a link to a webpage

  3. Complete the sign-up form

  4. Receive your unique code and apply it in the app

👉 Don’t have the Beryl app yet? Download it here and create an account.

📲 Add your card details to unlock a vehicle. Don’t worry, you won’t be charged unless you ride out of a Beryl Bay or Zone, or go over the free minute allowance.

How do I get the 50% discount?

After using your free minutes, you’ll be invited to complete a quick survey through Norwich BID.

Once completed, you’ll receive your 50% off voucher, which can be used up to 12 times over the next 12 months.

💳 Do I need a payment card?

Yes. Even though your rides are free, you must have a valid payment card on your account. This is because:

  • A £1 pre-authorisation check will be made to confirm the card is active

  • You may be charged for out of bay or out of zone fees if applicable

ℹ️ The £1 hold is temporary and will be released back to you by your bank.

Do any fees apply?

Yes. Standard out of bay and out of zone fees still apply during the promotion, so make sure to park in designated areas when you're done.

📣 Whether you’re heading to an interview, job centre appointment or new role, WiN with Beryl is here to help you get there quickly and affordably.

Good luck with your job search 💪
