Tip: The Day Pass is ideal for longer trips or one-off days out. The Flexi Pass works best for frequent short journeys, such as commuting or running errands.

🕒 When Does My Pass Start?

Your pass activates at the moment of purchase. Depending on the pass, it will remain valid for either 24 hours or 30 days. To get the most out of your pass, we recommend buying it when you're ready to start riding.

⏱️ How Long Can I Ride?

  • Weekend Pass: You can use up to 200 minutes in total from Friday - Sunday. You can ride for longer, but extra time will be charged at the standard Pay As You Ride rate of 8p for Beryl bikes or 18p per minute for e-Bikes.

🔋 What Happens If my pass expires?

If your pass expires:

  • Your pass will no longer be active.

  • You can buy a new pass at any time.

  • If you don't buy a new pass, your trips will be charged at the Pay As You Ride rate of £1 unlock plus 8p for Beryl bikes or 18p per minute for e-Bikes.

⏸️ Pausing Your Journey

Need to make a quick stop during your ride? You can pause your journey up to 15 minutes at a time in the Beryl app to keep the vehicle reserved while you step away. However, it’s important to note that pausing still uses your minutes.

Time spent paused continues to count towards your included minutes.
