Beryl e-Scooters will launch in Bournemouth and Poole on 25th January 2021, as part of a trial.

Beryl e-Scooters add a new way to get around the area and make essential journeys in a safe, socially distanced manner. They make longer distances and hills a breeze.

Key information:

In phase one of the trial, as a small number of e-Scooters are introduced, Beryl operations will focus on Bournemouth and Poole only. Christchurch is not currently included in the trial. Find out more about where you can and can't hire and park e-scooters here.

In the UK, e-scooters are currently classified as Personal Light Electric Vehicles and are treated as motor vehicles. To hire a Beryl e-Scooter you must have a valid driving licence.

e-Scooters in Bournemouth and Poole are only available for hire between 6.30am and 7pm.

For more information about hiring e-scooters, please see the e-scooter section of our help centre.
