Written by Scott

The Beryl eCargo Bike is available from Poole High Street and must always be collected from and returned to the same location.

Hiring an eCargo Bike

To begin your journey:

πŸ“ Go to the Poole High Street Beryl Bay.

πŸ“² Open the Beryl app and select the available eCargo Bike.

πŸ”“ Tap 'Unlock' to start your journey.

πŸ’³ The eCargo Bike is charged at the same price as a standard eBike.

Returning Your eCargo Bike

When you're ready to finish your journey:

πŸ“ Return the eCargo Bike to the Poole High Street Beryl Bay.

⚠️ The eCargo Bike must be returned to the same bay where it was hired. It cannot be left at any other Beryl Bay or location.

πŸ“² Open the Beryl app.

πŸ”˜ Tap 'End Journey' to remotely lock the eCargo Bike.

πŸ”” Wait for confirmation that your journey has ended successfully.

Check Your Journey Has Ended

Before walking away:

βœ… Confirm your journey has ended in the Beryl app.

πŸ“± Wait for the end-of-ride confirmation screen.

πŸ’³ Allow your journey to be invoiced before leaving the bike.

This confirms your hire has ended successfully.

⚠️ If You Experience Any Issues

If you're unable to end your journey:

🚲 Do not leave the eCargo Bike.

πŸ“ž Contact Customer Support immediately while you are still with the bike.

It is your responsibility to ensure your journey has ended successfully before leaving the eCargo Bike.

❗Why This Is Important

If your journey isn't ended correctly:

🚨 Your ride will remain active.

πŸ’Έ Additional riding charges may continue to accrue.

🚲 The eCargo Bike will remain assigned to your account until the journey is ended.

πŸ“ If the bike is left anywhere other than the Poole High Street Beryl Bay, additional charges or recovery fees may apply.

Taking a few extra seconds to confirm your journey has ended helps avoid unnecessary charges and ensures the eCargo Bike is available for the next customer.
