Planning to ride a Beryl e-scooter? Before you start your journey, please be aware that e-scooter availability is restricted during certain hours in BCP (Bournemouth, Christchurch & Poole) and Brighton.
These restrictions are in place as part of our operating requirements and help support the safe use of e-scooters within each area.
📍 BCP (Bournemouth, Christchurch & Poole)
Beryl e-scooters are unavailable to hire during:
10:00pm – 5:00am, Monday to Sunday
During these hours, e-scooters cannot be unlocked or hired.
📍 Brighton
Beryl e-scooters are unavailable to hire during:
12:00am – 5:00am, Monday to Sunday
During these hours, e-scooters cannot be unlocked or hired.
⚠️ Important Information
These restrictions apply to all Beryl e-scooters operating in the relevant area.
If you try to hire an e-scooter during the restricted hours, the vehicle will not be available to unlock.
You can still use the Beryl app to view available vehicles and plan your journey outside of these times.
Availability times may differ between locations, so please always check the Beryl app before travelling.
🚲 Other Vehicles
If e-scooters are unavailable, you can still check the Beryl app for available pedal bikes and e-bikes where these services are operating.
We recommend checking the app before starting your journey to ensure a vehicle is available when you need it.
