When planning your ride, knowing how far your e-Bike will take you is key. Here's everything you need to know about battery life, how to monitor it, and what to do if it runs out during your journey. đČâ
â
đ Check Before You Ride
When browsing e-Bikes in the Beryl app, youâll see an estimated range listed for each one. This gives you a helpful idea of how far the e-Bike can go based on its current battery level.
â
â ïž Keep in mind: The actual range can vary depending on a few things:
Your riding speed
Your weight and anything you're carrying
Hills or gradients on your route
â
đ± Battery Updates During Your Ride
Once your ride begins:
You can see the battery level and approximate range in the app
If your battery drops to 10%, weâll notify you and show how far you can still travel
â
đȘ«What If the Battery Runs Out?
If your e-Bike runs out of battery while you're riding:
Try to push or manually ride the e-Bike to a nearby Beryl Bay if possible
If you're unable to ride it, find the nearest Beryl Bay and lock the e-Bike to end your journey
If you canât reach a Bay, please end your journey in a considerate and safe location. You will be charged an out of bay or out of zone fee based on where you lock the e-Bike
â
đ A Friendly Reminder
As per our Terms of Service, itâs your responsibility to check the e-Bike battery level before you ride. If the e-Bike runs out of battery and you lock it outside a designated area, you will still be charged, and this will not be considered grounds for a refund.

Make smart picks before you start, and enjoy the ride with peace of mind đ
