​How do I claim my free 10 minutes?

If you hire a bike or e-scooter and park it in one of the participating bays, see above, you will get 10 minutes automatically deducted from your final journey time.

If you don't have an account yet, download the Beryl app here and follow the simple steps to sign up. You'll need to add your card details to hire a bike - this will only be charged if you end a ride out of a Beryl designed bay or out of the designated zone.

​Do I need to start my ride in a participating parking bay?

No, you just need to finish your ride in one.

​Can I ride for longer than 10 minutes?

If your ride is longer than 10 minutes, you'll be charged our standard rate for the remainder of your ride. See the scheme page for Norwich here for costs.

How often can I do this?

There's no limitation - each qualifying journey will deduct 10 minutes free.
